"STAYIN' UP ALL NIGHT" with Jim Christy! Our Galleries second floor will showcase Jim Christy's assembleges, mosaics and paintings. Christy's work has been exhibited across Canada and internationally, and is in public and private collections from Mexico to Japan. "STAYIN' UP ALL NIGHT" will open July 15th- August 14th

CITY2SUNRISE: A Journey Through Asia featuring the work of Brian Lorimer. In January 2010, Brian Lorimer was hired to capture the adventure of four Australians as they journeyed 14,000 km through South East Asia on motocross bikes. To date the riders have raised over $100,000 and brought much needed awareness to the Sunrise Children's Villages of Cambodia. The trip was a once in a life time adventure and has changed all those who participated.

Pushing Paint is the solo Exhibition of local artist Robert Huffman. Opening Reception is Thursday May 13th from 6-8pm

Robert Huffman was born in Belleville, Ontario in 1951, and grew up on a farm north of town in Thurlow Township. He started painting in oils at an early age, featuring landscapes of his rural surroundings. After attending the Ontario College of Art in Toronto, he pursued a career in graphic art, while continuing to paint and exhibit in Toronto and Belleville. Robert has been a full time artist since 1981, working in oils, watercolours, print-making and stained glass. He has exhibited extensively in galleries and juried shows, and has undertaken private and public commissions. Robert now resides with his wife and daughter in the Thurlow countryside. His chosen painting area ranges from Ottawa Valley to Georgian Bay with an emphasis on Algonquin Park.
