Gallery ArtPlus welcomes back painter Brian Lorimer. In January 2010, Brian Lorimer was hired to capture the adventure of four Australians as they journeyed 14,000 km through South East Asia on motocross bikes. To date the riders have raised over $100,000 and brought much needed awareness to the Sunrise Children's Villages of Cambodia. The trip was a once in a life time adventure and has changed all those who participated.
Brian Lorimer is an artist whose work can be found throughout North America. Last June, Gallery ArtPlus welcomed Brian Lorimer with "Landscapes of Solitude". This July we welcome Brian back as he raises awareness to the Sunrise Children's Villages. Geraldine Cox, founder of Sunrise Children's Villages says she is "thrilled to be getting international exposure" here in Canada. "City 2 Sunrise - A Trip Through Asia" opens July 8th here at Gallery ArtPlus and is scheduled to travel to Australia later in 2010.
